The first one being 30 yrs. ago is just a distant memory. This last one was an emergency situation - ambulance to hospital & surgery within 6-8 hrs. It was a bowel obstruction from the previous surgery - the scar tissue closed of the bowel. While he was in there fixing that he found more crohnes. We had a talk the next day about how to fix it the best way & back into surgery for operation # 2. Re-sectioned about 2" & put me back together good as new. I was in the hospital for 10 days. That was in early July & I'm about 90% now & feel great. The cost was $80. for the ambulance & about $800 for a semi private room. The rest was paid by our health system. Sorry it took so long to respond Evolvo.
