Lets see went to wrecking yard in a T shirt today and got some more odds and ends for the El Camino.
(I could steal Jays line about having to shovel 2 feet of sunshine off the side walk but I won't :LOL: )
14 inches here so far......Brought the shop plow truckhome so I can dig myself out before doing the shop tomorrow morning.

Ahhh, reminds me of when we lived in Minnesota! Snow in November, melt in April
Pat
reports say we got 22-24inches.
I'm anchored off the coast of Maryland 12miles out of Baltimore
45knot wind made for 5-6ft seas most of the day.
Mike P stole my joke! :-) ...but I did have frost in the freezer today!
Tucson is a little different than the Midwest, where I grew up. The stores are busy, the christmas lights are up on most of the houses, and our house is decorated from end to end.... as usual.
It's the daylight hours that spoil the mood. Even after all of these years, the warm sunny days hold off some of that holiday feeling. We have had ice cream trucks cruising the neighborhood every day.... Lance Armstrong was just here, doing some training... and the official colors for christmas decorations are mint green and pink....because they are all sun-bleached!
But when the sun goes down...the lights come on....and the air gets cool, it brings back those old feelings. {:-)
On the usually frozen tundra of Upstate NY, cold (0 these past 2 mornings) and dreary, but no new snow though the prognosticators say maybe a trace coming thru tomorrow. We have lucked out with this past storm, but ol' man winter will have his revenge. A potential storm maybe Xmas day is being predicted and we have to go even further out on the tundra to my wife's sister's home for gluttony, drink and just good fun.
It's actually pretty cool here too, supposed to get only in the high 60's the next couple of days and into the 45-50 range at night. We've been waiting all Summer for this cooler weather, makes working in the shop very pleasant and sweat-free. :D
Don
A bit cool here too, supposed to be around 0 F tonight but with a breeze it feels somewhat cooler. Clear all this week, BUT we are expecting some snow on Christmas day.:)
You guys need the snow Jack, heard it was dry out there!!!!!!:LOL::LOL:
Southside Virginia, Friday night. It got worse, but total of only 8 inches.

That is why I moved out of CT to FL. Alittle cool this w/e in the 60's.
Cool in the 40's here (atlanta area) and it FINALLY stopped raining ...... for right now.
I'm with "florida" that is why I left NH & Boston!!! I don't have to shovel rain.
REGS
its been 114f or 45c to 47c here for most of the day, it has cooled down a bit tonight, still have the air con running flat out and it is 98f or 37c with a southerly wind due to hit soon and cool everything off a little.
barnsey
We got about 3-5" of the white stuff here. Enough for the grdkids to have fun in.:D
After an unusually cold (in the teens for high) and clear snap last week, we're back to the usual 40ish and pre melted snow fall.
In spite of of it not really "feeling" like Christmas as Jay mentioned, after receiving this picture from my sister back in Ill a week ago, I find I really don't miss real winter and pre-melted snow is even OK.
Want to guess where the snow blower is????????
80 yesterday and 77 today, be glad when things get back to normal, low to mid 70's. :D
56 today, seems cool, but sunny. A truck work day for sure.
8 inches of white stuff
I'm laughing at the weather gods right now. I was cutting down a plywood panel to use as a back mount for my fuse block, when the sky opened up and it started pouring rain! So I had to scrable to get the table saw inside, and then fight the primed truck back into the garage(not running yet)!
I had ice today,----in my scotch!
We've been freezing here in So'eastern Mass. 20 to 22 inches of snow is what we awoke to. Spent all day shoveling and running the snowblower. Used almost 5 gallons of gas in the blower! Weather guessers say more snow on friday! 8-(
Not much snow here in frigid Wisconsin...yet.
Temps in the 20's - 30's.
long cold winters provide plenty of time to work in the shop.
Merry Christmas all!
Tom
