Sorry about Ms Abby. Our Trey, a tri-color shelty, also had epilepsy and we did custom mix drugs for him and had him nine years, losing him in 2002. I like your Rainbow Bridge story.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

there is a special place for those who love animals . as my granpa would say " it don't take much effort to pet a dog " ours are special and each time we have to let one go it is painful . but we do it for them , not to them. sorry for your heartache .

Most of us who have been through this know how very painful it is. I've gone through it twice in the past year or so, losing Scooter and Sniffy, my cat buddies for 17 years. My Son Don just went through it too, losing Sassy who was about the same age. It leaves a real, indescribable hole in your life that only a pet lover can understand.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Maybe when an appropriate amount of time has passed you can go to a rescue shelter and save another little life and give it the same wonderful home you gave Miss Abby. Certainly won't be a replacement, but just the opportunity to love another as you did her.
Luckily, I live with my Son Dan and he has 3 cats, so I have plenty of buddies to spoil and having them did take some of the hurt of losing Sniff and Scoot away.

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
Where is everybody?
