Here's some of what I'd call bad news.

The Pate Museum is on highway 377 southwest of Fort Worth in the town of Cresson. It is closing.

The museum houses a big bunch of wonderful treasures, and anybody who is the least bit interested in cars (particularly my CHR brothers and sisters who have been around for a while) should have had the opportunity to visit it.

The Pate family wouldn't hear of charging admission so I was able to take youngsters out there on several occasions.
