Desert Rust
Has anyone seen this site? Is it for real? If so I better get my project cars back ouside to get some more rust on them, take off a few parts. 1960 Chevy $17,000

I have seen this guys site before. If you remember a week or so ago a feller posted up some pictures of a wrecking yard full of old tin. In those pictures was a really clean and straight 1940 something Ford COE, I have been looking for one of these for awhile and started on a hunt to locate that yard. I did in time find some contact information and spoke with the guy that owned that COE. Turned out it had already been sold, but he told me about this web-site for some broker there in Bozeman, MT. That turns out to be the web-site you linked to here. Guy doesnt own any of that stuff just brokers some old tin. The man is suffering badly from Barret Jackson syndrome, in the conversation I had with him he mentioned Barret Jackson at least a dozen times. And in looking at his site some of the prices will just scare the hell out of a grown man.
Here's a couple of examples this Wagon with a 396 the guy wants $8,000.00
And this Corvette which I had a friend go and look at is a total basket case is $50,000.00

In 1974 I sold a 61 Vette I had stripped, and painted black lacquer for $1,000
I couldn't believe he was for real. I have a 40 Chevy coupe better then the one I saw I think it was $4,500 or $5,500 mine will be a lot less when I'm ready to sell it.

$3,500 for an unrestored '59 American 2dr?.. they sell for less than $10k restored and will cost $5-6k to restore if the start vehicle is solid and complete.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I'm going to try to get to a 40 Chevy 2 dr. drive able car early in the morning before the crowd get's there. It's about 100 miles, that keeps my mind off the pain somehow, so what ever works is worth it. This time tomorrow I'll either be UP or down.

Ther is a salvage yard next door to North star Dragway ( Denton Tx.)that is full of about anything you can think of but just like that place higher than hell.Sometime Kool is the Rule But Bad is Bad

From what I could see of the thumb nail picture, the steering wheel looked ok. A 59 and 60 Chevy dash is a popular item, I would like to have one myself but not for $17,000
