Drug bust in Dallas

Dont know how many of you guys have seen this but this is what makes me upset. Drug Cartels are in control of the southern border. Well , they have been in control for years but it looks like if we are headed in the right direction. Seems there was a new upcoming cartel that got hurt by authorities across the country yesterday. Dallas is a "hub" for the drug route going up further north. Theres just to many illegals having a free for all of a time making Millions in America illegally and illegally .:whacked: Hopefully we can solve this problem because just removing the Mexicans will leave the door open for some one else to fill in.

Yes this is a big problem however they are going where the money is. What makes me mad is there are Americans that are buying the stuff! Stop the drug use and they will go back to making tacos!!!

Well the media is making a "Big Deal" of the Feds crackdown and looking like heros and saints.Here in Arizona our Sheriff Joe has been holding crime sweeps and arresting illegals and turning them over to I.C.E.,the Feds stripped Him of his I.C.E. credentials and are supporting the scum that accuse Him of "racial profiling",our former governor and Head of Homeland Security is at the forefront of this campaign to attack His efforts.Maybe the Feds don't want competition ? It is not unusual to see several drop houses a week getting busted and I.C.E. taking credit in the media.I do not have a problem with hard working folks that come here legally from below the border,my own grandparents came here from Norway,Ireland and Germany but they did it legally.What is scary is that a year ago the Feds increased the immigration quota from middle east countries by tenfold,the thought of people who were raised from the cradle to hate the U.S. coming here is showing up with these terror plots being uncovered,look at how crime rates have increased against Europeon countries since them have allowed more Muslims to come into their countries,we can all sleep better with Janet in charge.:rolleyes:

I agree with you guys .... America is the land of the free for illegals to commit their crimes.I know this instance is with Mexicans and not trying to just point them out , it happens on all borders with all races. I am upset with the "immagrant" being able to come to America illegally and commit any crime they wish and most of the time they are protected by America. Being here so close to the border I have seen a illegal kill some one be at his home town in Mx the same day and be back in a month with a new name. I still dont understand how that can be....

I couldn't agree more. If there were no buyers there would be no sellers....period. We humans are a strange lot. We all justify our actions to suit our own needs. I think they should legalize all the drugs, put a huge tax on them, and let the federal government run the program!!!!! Every business the feds stick their necks into winds up going in the toilet!!!!!! No time at all the feds would have the drug business so screwed up people wouldn't want to touch them!!!! Heck, let them run prostitution, too!!!! Uncle Bob probably has pics of an OSHA approved hooker!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, if there wasn't such a huge market for the product, the illegals wouldn't be peddaling them!!!! Just another case of us becoming our own worst enemy!!!!

Want to solve the drug and illegal problem real quick??? Bring ALL the troops home from these ridiculous unwinable accomplish nothing wars and have them police the problem!!!! We spend billions every month overseas while things at home are underfunded, understaffed, and ineffective!!!!!! I really dont see drugs and people using them as the main problem here. Drugs have been around since the beginning of mankind. Meth has even been around for about 60-70years. You used to be able to buy heroin through the local paper , mail order with a syringe. If drugs werent so readily available they would not be sucked up the Americans.
My complaint is drug trafficking.... It is the problem,in my oppinion. Anyone can be next in line to make the money , most say its the Asians ,but when no one even knows your name because your illegal , hell its a free market. Get caught , change your name and do it again....Some one gets in your way , get rid of them and change your name. South of the border they have "bred" generations of drug traffickers. No names , killers that kill families and anyone that gets in the way. Secureing are borders would solve or put a big dent of a ton of problems...

The drugs are just the tip of the ice burg.
They come acrossed the boarders kidnap young girls and take them back to mexico
and give them away as gifts to other drug lords.
People are getting murderd and then when the boarder patroll tries to stop them and has to shoot one, they lock up the boarder patroll guards.

If there were no more for drugs, trafficing in them would not be a problem...... The basic business premise of supply and demand is at work here...if the American consumers didn't want drugs, there wouldn't be people here from outside and inside the country selling them.....

Making drugs illegal and having some token law enforcement effort accomplishes very little....it seems this country should have learned that during the prohibition days.....

Here in Dallas and I am sure else where but here they have found heroin in elementary schools being distributed as a candy looking substance. I dont think these kids are demanding heroin. The neighborhoods are so flooded with it that it gets into elementary schools and before you know it you have another generation of dope heads.
I also know that as Americans we have our own issues but when some one can jump back and forth across borders at will with no name to even trace the guy that can only lead to a bad situation. Hell I went to Mx and was given a hard time to come back. I was told it was my lucky day because I should not make it. I know this topic has went around and around but I guess its just a little wishful thinking.

Well, it has been beat to death for the last 40 years...and the results have always been the same..nothing.... It's a whole lot easier to buy a bag of weed today then it was when I was 16, so if anything our course of "enforcement" for the last 40 years can be classified as totally ineffective... So if the enforcement is ineffective then the approach to the problem is wrong. It hasn't worked, doesn't work now, and won't work in the future so obviously it's time for a change...

Legalize drugs, control the legal distribution of drugs, tax the hell out of them, assign military units to DEA offices.... Cut off all aid to any country found to be exporting drugs to the US and apply the strictest possible laws governing people from those countries coming to the US for any reason... Enforce the immigration laws we have now by assigning military units to Border Patrol offices.

Other changes would of course have to be incorporated, but the big change would have to somehow come in the attitude of this country towards drugs.... Prohibition didn't work on alcohol, why should we expect it to work on drugs?????

We're on our way. I see today that there is a movement afoot to legalize pot. At the same time, we are criminalizing cigarettes.

any drug is legal if the government can tax it. pot is not that big of a deal the way i see it .there is some that can not pay for there Rx drugs for pain and have no insurance . and use a bit of pot for pain .let them grow it in the usa .close the border pot not killing. it s the a$$ holes comming over the border looking for money when the pot drys up they will be doing something else that is no good thats what they do

Unless people live with pain everyday, some of them have no idea.
I have never smoked and at 47 my lungs have about give up on me.
I live on Morphine now and it still seams like I have a engine block sitting on my chest, all of my ribs feel like they are broken because of inflammation on my lungs.
Some folks do need relief from the pain, though I don't think it is for me.
The Government is comming around in some states now though.

It's not just the border towns anymore; the DEA just busted 300 people here in Missouri and Illinois that were running drugs for the La Familia cartel. Get this; La Familia has their own doctors and treatment centers where they rehab Mexican drug users and then force them to work in their drug business that caters strictly to supplying Americans addicts and users. I saw an interview with some DEA officials on TV the other night talking about it. Can you believe it?

You know what falcon, it does not suprise me anymore. Sad but true... Even with 9-11 illegals come and go at will . Bring trailers full of dope across our borders with ease. But get this La Famila is but just 1 of the cartels. They are newbies to the game. You would never think you could see heads rolling down the street, people killed in groups of 10 and beheaded, children getting sold for sex on American soil. All by people that dont belong here to begin with....What does it take????? Are people not voting/saying anything?

Just goes to show how totally ineffective our drug enforcement program is... kind of like trying to **** out a forest fire!!!!

Like I said we have our own problems, we just dont need illegals coming in and capitalizing on some thing thats illegal. Make drugs legal and they will capitalize on some thing else illegal. Its to easy, no name to identify you.....

It just blows me away that a crime family is cleaning up their own people to use as weapons against Americans. That's not just wanting to sell dope, that's wanting to overthrow a country.
I'm a recovering coke and alcohol addict with 15 years clean and I have to agree with legalization. Let's spend the $$$ coming up with new and better treatments instead of filling up the jails with people who otherwise might have a chance at recovery. Sometimes I think prison will put some people over the edge for good who might have still had a chance at getting better. If my 20 year old son were an addict and wanted help; I'd rather see him in a treatment facility rather than a prison with violent crime offenders. But it's tricky. Many times they go to jail for the things that the drugs made them do rather than the drugs themselves. Legalize coke and a serious addict will still steal money to get it when he's out and needs a fix. How do we legalize that? I've worked with addicts for years and seen a lot of people die from abuse; some good friends. Bottom line is if they dont want to get better, there's little you can do for them, and not a lot of real good answers.

Not really illegal is illegal. Doesn't matter if your Irish,Russian, Asian, Jamaican,etc,etc,etc. Like I said if the Mx are taken out of the game on the border the Asians IMO will be next in line to make the money. Others just fly under the radar while everyone is concentrated on Mx. Hell ,Mexicans arent even Mexican,lol.BUT, the problem is open borders and people that come in and out. Bring our troops home and quit fighting in foreign countries where they don't even want our help...

Arresting users is ineffective... Works about the same as the medical community, all we're doing is treating the symptoms and not trying to solve the problem....

I watch some of these adds, telling me to speak to my Doc, and quietly streaming an endless list of "possible" side effects, and by the end I have no idea what this new miracle drug is supposed to cure. We take drugs to help us sleep, to help us stay alert, to stop our legs from moving, to keep us calm, to help us speak in public and on and on and on.

I said legalize and tax it all many posts ago.... It's a cinch the program (or lack of it) we've used for the last 40 years hasn't accomplished anything!!!!

The majority of drugs on the market aren't designed to cure anything....It's job security for the drug companies to only develop and market drugs that treat the symtoms!!!!!! If they marketed drugs that actually cured anything, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot!!!!
