Hemitee beat me to it but living here in St.Paul Minn "Back to the 50's" would be high on the list. There were about 11,900 hotrods at the 2009 event. You can't possibly see all of them in one day. Doesn't matter, there a lot who go cruising a couple of the main streets in the evenings for the whole week. It can be wall to wall people watching for many blocks Friday and Sat nights.

There are a couple dozen popular rod building shops too. You will have to get a Linechaser magazine from MSRA to get a complete list. Send them a note and I'm sure they would send one to you. In the magazine there is a complete list of events going on in the area. You can go to a rod event every night of the week in the summer. If you plan carefully you can hit 3 a day on weekends.

    Here is the website again.

Bentwings, your state is one place I would love to get to.I have been on the msra site once before, truly amazing sight in having 11000 rods in one place, doesnt NSRA Nats in Louisville do similar numbers?Or did once or twice before? You have no idea what a sight that would be to the average Kiwi,or Aussie for that matter...
