    Syracuse nationals

Well just got back from the Syracuse nationals and man were they packed. Over 7100 cars and 80,000 people. Alot of fun and saw something this year that was different. They had these small model cars with gas engines hooked up to pull sleds and the idea was to see which one could pull the most dirt before the blade dug into too deep so the car couldn't pull anymore. The same as your big pull offs. Took many pictures but my camera was stolen from my truck which really pissed my off, but other than that we had alot of fun. Got to try snowmobile racing and blew the engine about half way down the track(way to much throttle on take off).
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

yup.. had a good turnout this year.. I only went Saturday this year and left b4 the events.. took a few pictures.. didn't have a vehicle entered this year, which I think having a vehicle in the show makes it much more convinent and enjoyable.

I decided to take a year off and took the camper out instead Several passed us going home on Monday.

That is usually an awesome show - and guess what, it covers car years like the "new" NSRA!!!

I saw the mini pullers last year - those folks have some serious bucks in those little cars. They had mini circle track cars a few years ago and I always try to spend a bit of time watching. You do have to look for them though as they aren't always easy to find.

I am now gone from this forum for now - finally have pulled the plug
