Ed Mchmahon passed away today

Announced on the news this morning. Ed McMahon died at age 86...

Ed, with Johnny they were a good match those day's are gone. They said Ed had bone cancer, he had health problems but 86 is not bad. R.I.P

Really sorry to hear that, Ed seemed like a nice guy, and his last years were plagued with financial and other problems. All the people we grew up with are leaving us............:(

I always thought it was strange that Johnny retired and very shortly passed away. It was like he had nothing to live for once the 30 year run of his show was over. I miss him too.

They were by far the best "Tonight Show" team there ever was or will be. Rest easy Ed.

I heard that this morning too. It didn't surprise me because of his health but ya just hate to hear it happen. They played about 5 minutes of some of their funnier skits,,, they just don't make 'em like Ed and Johnny any more. RIP Ed
