That ain't no planter, that's hotrod material. Build it!! Make a 2 x 3 tube frame, put a small V-6 under that hood with a 5-speed behind and a Ranger or S-10 rear end. Leave the rear of the body as is (depot hack?). Make some old style wrap-around bucket seats like a Stutz or Mercer speedster and leave the sides of the cab open. Chop it, but not as much as in your altered picture. Use some painted steel wheels and blackwall tires. Leave all the sheet metal as is (unrestored) and keep the flat white.
