My son is about to scrap this car and I'd hate to see that. I'd give someone a pretty good deal on it but I don't even know what it is.
The cowl has a vent in the top and is smooth on the sides, the bottom corner of the windshield/cowl is nothing I've ever seen. It's a four door.
He says it's a 28 Dodge.
Any guesses?

it's not a '28 Dodge, but it looks like the only thing usable now is the front of the cowl and maby a door or 2, unless sombody's a major metalworker...
the belt line, cowl vent and visor lend itself to being a higher up car.. quite possibly somthing like an Essex.. I'm going thru carnut.com now to find what it is
Not much to go on there, I'd say it's mid to late '20s. Not an Essex, the body isn't square enough, and the gauge panel isn't right for an Essex. BTW, before scrapping it take that gauge panel out, it's got a nice style. Could be worth some addition to the parts account for the T coupe. If you don't want to mess with selling it, I'll happily pay to ship it to me.:3dSMILE:
I checked Durant, Essex, dodge and Nash, and didn't find any like it.. '28 Nash was the closest but the cowl was way to fancy
Well my son was correct, it is a 28 Dodge. I did some more searching and they called it the 1927/28 Fast Four, other models of those years had different body styles. Notice the dash gauges and the detail around the windshield post. Sooooooooo any of you Hemi guys need a project car?
I hauled in three loads of scrap iron so far this week, the 28 Dodge will be loaded up soon unless some wants it. If not, I'm going to keep the cowl, dash and front doors and scrap out the rest. PM me if interested and I'll take some more pictures.
