returning warrior
It was an uphill fight.. tracking down 20 year old paperwork, digging up records, setback after setback.. but I finally got all the 'I's dotted and the 'T's crossed..Went to Montgomery for the physical.. and I'm back in the army!
I'm 39, prior service with four years active duty. Just signed a three year contract.
funny thing is.. when I was in the hotel lobby, at the MEPS ( military enrolment processing station ) the only thing I could think was...
OMG!!! WHAT HAVE I DONE? I'M SURROUNDED BY C H I L D R E N !!!.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
