I'll give you an old man's view on it.

    You said this....
"I am trying to get my moble detailing business going"

Do you really need an air conditioner project right now? And will the cost of doing this exceed the value of the vehicle on the open market?

    And this.....
"do a plain repaint on it and possibly some nice wheels like Torq Thrusts."

Do you really need a paint and wheel project right now? And will the cost of doing this exceed the value of the vehicle on the open market?

And how is a plain repaint job going to look on a van that is owned by a detailer?
And do you really need a V8 to haul what you have? You have to consider operational costs if you plan to show a profit at the end of the year.

In the end, you'll have to weigh the pros and cons and make your own decision. I'm just trying to inject a little reality.
