This is a lunch stop, on the road---somewhere. I took 162 pictures as we went along. Some, I remember the locations of. a lot I don't.

this is the "Tour Truck" that went along with us, driven by Moe. It carried all the tools for repairs along the road, and all the "swag" that was given out each morning at our meetings before we hit the road for another days travel.

This pic shows my car, and the car belonging to two really brave kids, a man and wife from Oshawa, who drove the entire trip WITH NO TOP!!! In this picture both cars are huddled under the hotel portico to get out of the rain for the night.

Here we are entering the bridge to Prince Edward Island, shot from inside the car.

This is our intrepid leader, Frank Colgoni, speaking from the back of the Tour Truck, laying out our days plans at a morning meeting.

This is Doug, my buddy from Perth, doing his "washy/cleany" thing at one of our stops on the road.--He was more concerned about keeping the "Wild Canary" clean and spotless thoughout the tour than I was.

This picture, which includes my ugly profile was shot as we drove across the PEI bridge--

I just had to post this shot---Two of the nicest teenage girls I have ever met. These girls were on the tour, riding with their parents from Timmins, Ontario in a 1956 Nomad wagon. The girls were beautifull, and they had personalities to match. Their parents were very nice folks too, but not nearly as photogenic as their daughters!!!

We stopped at a little fishing village/restruant/tourist catcher spot. and took the obligatoyr "Down East Lighthouse Picture"---

And here is the standard "Goofy shot".--A picture of Doug, taking a picture of me, taking a picture of him----

This is the young, very brave couple from Oshawa, Ontario---They made the entire 3000 mile trip with no top. The girl suffered a bout of food poisoning from funky pizza on the way down. I never heard them complain the entire trip, but I'll bet if you checked, thay are both starting to grow webs between their toes from all that damn rain!!!

When we stopped overnight in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia the local rodders had put together a "cruise night" at a (Blechhh) A&W. They have a lot of VERY impressive iron in and around Dartmouth!!! (I don't really hate A&W---Its just that after eating at one every day for 4 days straight, my blood was starting to smell like root beer.)

This shot is fairly typical of every morning/evening shot at the hotels we stayed in---Either washing up for the coming days trip, or washing the road muck off from the days journey.

And then we got to the Nationals. I didn't take many pictures there, because as I said in my main post ---I just wasn't that impressed by what I saw there. You can put that down to my being old and jaded, a hotrod snob, or just a plain grumpy old fart. I did see a car which was about as radical a custom as you could hope to see---It was in primer, and I just had to get a shot of the humoungus tail fins, and I got a picture of your typical bad-boy flamed Merc.

And Oh Yes---I just HAD to get a shot of the motorized muffler.---

And, as a wrap up shot---Here is the Wild Canary and driving buddy Doug on the ferry crosing Lake Champlain on our trip from Bangor Maine to Plattsburgh New york. Thats all folks.
