Sounds like Hunter or Windham is having an end of season festival to me!!!
I doubt very much that weighting/unweighting and carving your turn (in what medium??) will accomplish what you want in a "timely" fashion.
Leave your computer on and 'tuned' to this forum and a note pasted to the monitor screen while you give it a try so we can be notified by someone when the Life Flight chopper leaves. If you end up in an Albany hospital, I'll come to visit.

If you have a helmet, you also better have boots and a full set of leathers. Ever heard of road rash?? Being a former motorcycle racer I am here to tell you asphalt hurts.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

We use to take vegetable crate and make push cart and use 26" bicycle wheels and tires no brakes and raced them down hill into a T in the road at the end of the street, up over the boards on the curb, and into the field. We would put 4 - 18" skis on them in the winter. No helmets. Early 60's.
But then again....I was 14 then, and didn't think pain hurt then.
Good Luck.....I Think you'll need it.

I work at Hunter in the rental department, so all the skis there throwing out ( they had Salomon 500 bindings which are no longer considered safe by solomon ).. we can take.. some ppl are making chairs, others, contraptions like I'm going to build
I was going to try it without the castors on the snow first ( at Hunter ).. I do know that it will work on the snow because I could flex the edges in on the front shovles of the skis, and they would turn it, just like you can turn parabolic skis, by shifting weight... but I was afraid of the fact, it may not turn on the castors with weight change, and I may need a way to angle ( as paralell to the louge ) the skis to steer... mount a solid piviot up front on them, and add a support with a steering tiller in the middle, in the back of the ski.. with some kind of support to hold the rear of the skis, that slides... I'm sure I'll end up in the news if I get torn up enough to get air lifted..

nah, just the season is ending, spring is here and I have no toys to cruise in.. did buy a 1998 Ford Ranger yesterday
.. kinda bored with 2-3 days off, just gotta tinker on somthing, and it's too cold to work in the garage, so I can build the louge in the house.. when I pick up the ranger, theres a lot of cheap stuff for them I can put on it to keep me busy
