Ain't it the truth! The first thing I did to the body when building my A coupe was get rid of the little "shelf" behind the seats so I could push them all the way back against the back of the "cab". That added 3 inches of leg room. It certainly helped, but I'd like to have another 2 inches. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about the width...

I'm just under 5'10" and 220 lbs. My wife is 5'6" and about average for her height. Back in 2006 we drove the coupe on a 2400 mile loop through the midwest. People are sometimes amazed by that when we tell them. The usual comment is something like "You must really like each other to ride that far shoulder to shoulder!" In a couple of weeks my son and I are going to Billetproof in the coupe. He's just under 6', about 220 lbs, and he's a lot broader shouldered than his mother. I'll let you all know how it goes...
