Hey Vara, I can't help with a good hood, I'm still looking for a decent L-88 hood to go on my '79, but if you think it could work for you let me know and maybe we can work something out, it is a stock L-48 long hood. The main reason for this post is to give you the link to the guys who make the headlight conversion kit, http://mcspeed.homestead.com/Our_Products.html check these guys out, I plan on getting this set up because I seriously doubt that I'll have enuff vacuum when I get done with the motor .
