Not my style of car, but I'd sure like to have it and take the money and buy myself a bunch of hotrods. LOL!
Only 17 ever made, it's expected to bring over 4 million in an auction

I got that e-mail yesterday. Pretty neat how this stuff happens from time to time. I was kinda curious how the aluminum held up after all these years?
I've got two of those out back. I think they are overpriced, and don't want to cheat anyone, so I am sending them to a recycler JK! :-)~
Dang, glad they found it!!!! Was one heck of a party, always wondered where I left my car!!!
Very cool deal story and all, shame the old Dude had to pass for the car to be found though.
There was another story similiar to this about one of the rarest Maserati's. Some collector dude had been looking for one of three Maserati coupes, the only one not accounted for. Found the home of the old Guy in Torrence who had bought it orginally. His family said the remembered the car but couldnt seem to recall what happened to it, none of them had seen the car in over 20 years or so. The old guy had been dead for years but his grandson jumbs and says " What about the Old car Grand poppy used to say he hid in the garage"? Turns out the in the corner of the garage there is a false wall, they rip the thing down and there it is one of the rarest of all European cars--- One of Three.
The only thing I ever found was a lost dime one time amazing thing was the value of that dime. Seems I had lost it in the back of my Model A years before. When I finally stumbled back on it it was today worth an amazing .07 cents seems inflation even comes to dimes in time.

That body was the inspiration for the coolest modern concept car ever, the Chrysler Atlantic. Rather less power, though, a Straight-8 made of two Neon four bangers!(gag!)
