I helped a friend who owned a body shop back in the 70's repair one that had been hit. The doors were very heavy and a real pain in the arse to get on and off and then to get them set up correctly. As Pat stated, fit and finish was not one of their pride marks. Very interesting car, finish looked like a polished gelcoat more than paint. The one we worked on was green, bright John Deere green.

the guy i knew that had one the doors were failing off the body shell and they were gelcoated and never match the only way that occur was to paint the hole car thats what the guy i knew did along with get the doors fix by some guy that just work on them pos cars the fit and over finsh on a yugo was by far better
