I'll repeat what I said on the other site-
Like pappy always said- " Be aware of the worst and PREPARE, IF it never happens you are STILL ahead. Because you KNOW ,YOU are ready"
Do what I did. Hide an unregistered high powered weapon w 10 cases of ammo in a safe dry accessable place + put an amount of Gold + Silver away -NOT in the Bank or safety deposit box.
Here too, I suppose!!! Oh well, good food anyway!!! Gonna have any pumpkin pie left over? That'd almost make the trip worthwhile!!!!Quote:

This guy is a white supremisist AS-H_LE who condones mass murder of Jews and minority's (do a google) But in every lie a speck of truth makes it more believable. Did'nt watch the whole thing?, I do not buy into that whole paranoia of this. I find it VERY hard to believe the entire military will support and obey this kind of thing.
BUT,An economic and public collapse w riots and food shortages is not only possible, but likely.IF this comes true. This will lead to robbery's ,attacks and murders to secure food for THEIR (crooks + the poorly prepared) family's, This is not part of that conspiracy stuff, Its human nature , ALL human beings will attack another to secure their own safety + well being IF pushed far enough. I do not belive (I hope not anyway) that this will happen, but I AM prepared. As a Vet I am not only capable, but willing to pop a cap in a robbers head -man, woman or child ,who would try to deprive MY family of its personal property that I own legally (only in the event of a country wide collapse). The first sign will either be the take over or shut down of public radio and TV by gov. agencies for OUR own good and filtered information..
hmmmm. Back to that shooting stuff....No thanks, been there, done that.....
Maybe I'll just plant a big garden or something....
I'm going to save some pumpkin pie later today. Justin Case. :D
There ya go!!!!! More pie, less violence... Works for me!Quote:

Anything saved feeding us can go towards gas or heating fuel.
All that said, We STILL have a LOT to be thankful for in this country. Happy Turkey Day to you all.
If everyone IS out to get ya, is it still paranoia??????
It's good to be wanted.
Ive been wondering that for years Dave!:eek:Quote:

Any more turkey and I think i'm gonna gobble.
I forgot, what was the point of this thread?
Guess that works for me.
I've never quite understood how come something has to die for us to celebrate an occasion. Well, now it is time to celebrate christmas. Excuse me, I have to go murder a tree.
Oh, I don't think that's the case at all.Quote:

I recently saw a big shot economest on one of the all news channels saying that we would be on a new currency within a few mounths.I dont know wish somebody did, vvery uncertian times.
Dollar fell here today.
But, I picked it up and put it back on the dresser.
Yeah!!! Better not have a falling dollar around here, somebody gonna get hurt in the fight to claim it!!!!!!
Saw that on the web news this morning. A woman miscarried in the same incident just a few feet from that guy. All for what?
Hope it wasn't for turkey
Even as fanatic as us rodders are, i think it would take a hell of alot for us to trample some poor dude to get to something.
Try offering up a 32 3 window for 500 and say it goes on sale at 3 am tommorrow.:)
More to add to the doom and gloom story,
an interesting article predicting that the U.S is no longer going to be the financial stronghold of the worlds economy. One quote from the article,
on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator."
When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."

Just remember....this is an old adversary, who would like to see us suffer the same fate they did. I would not put too much faith in their opinion.
I think our country will struggle...evaluate...restructure in the relevant areas....and bounce back.
The biggest problems are the imbalance in wages, and overconsuming, as compared to the rest of the world. We got away with it, until far cheaper labor drove manufacturing and other businesses out of the country.
In the future....hopefully not tooooo distant....the world will be on a more equal footing. It will take a while, and won't be easy. We need to develop more manufaturing...probably of new products.
"Do-it-yourself" hot rodding is coming back....and not just for younger enthusiasts who don't have a choice. It will include some older builders who no longer have a choice!
I have been busy with visiting family over the holiday but I looked at the video last night and my impression is that the ring of the metal "Amero" sounded like aluminum to me. A coin of gold, silver or nickel alloy would have more of a "thud" sound or a lower frequency ring to it. Just a guess, but it looks like a hoax to me feeding on a very real problem of devaluation, but I hope not all the way to a North American "Amero".

The "Amero" shown was a fake made by a distribution company. Somewhat akin to a Mardi gras dubloon. Anodised Aluminum. To be real gold, Manufacture of the necessary amount to cover the alleged China shipment would have used up all the gold that is in vaults around the world. That amount would be some 1.7 trillion dollars worth at 1000 dollars an oz. or some 900B at current market. Gold would have to be at over 2000$ an oz just to have enough to cover this years debt.
No, I don't. If an Amero shows up it will be a worthless fiat paper currency just like we have now. Just new and improved. Whazizname was claiming the amero he had was gold.
Just had a thought. Do you suppose it is called a Fiat currency because it just struggles along and can crumble in a heap without any warning and is basicly worthless?
Now we can say we're back on topic cause we talked about cars?
[QUOTE=61bone;334091] To be real gold, Manufacture of the necessary amount to cover the alleged China shipment would have used up all the gold that is in vaults around the world.
The video never said the coins were gold, The video said you should exchange you dollars for gold before the Amero takes over. If that ever even happens at all.
