For those of you looking for more space I saw this lift posted on the Costco web site. Not sure of quality, but it might be for someone here, so I just posted the link.Steve.

There have been a few pictures posted in various places of lifts that have failed and dropped their load (not the brand you are showing, I don't think) so it has made me leery of getting under anything that is low cost. I HATE benchpressing a car off of my chest. :D
The garage owner down the row from us was telling me you can score used lifts from the guys who sell and install them in garages. With the economy what it is, he says they repossess them all the time and sell them at 1/2 price. He says they also get some when garages move up to a different model. You might want to check that out. A lift would be cool to own.

As much as I'd love one, my garage isn't high enough. But thought some guys here might need something like this. Costco seems to sell good stuff and stand behind it(maybe not under it in this case!:D
I guess this is to cheap! It comes with a house. :HMMM:

Check out the ads in the newspapers and business journals for going out of business sales for garages. A friend of mine picked up a nice hydraulic scissors type unit for under $500. Other than that maybe a nice used Kwik Lift from someone who just got a new hydaulic.
