Withdrawl pains allready
ALL of you better walk over to the wall and pull the plug that connects to youre "Idiot Box" and go do something worthwhile. TV's "Americas Wasteland", the news isnt even worth watching. If you dont get creative it could be a LOOOOONG winter.

Show cracks me up... Will is always talking about how he does this and that to make it Unique... He don't do Poop! The talent in is the garage... I wish Remey would open up his own shop and kick his A$$

I watched it once and wasn't impressed enough to get interested in it. That being said running a successful business and doing what the business does are two different things. That's why the failure rate of new small business typically runs somewhere around 80%. Millions of people across this country know and talk about his business, regardless of whether they respect it or not, and he's being paid quite well for it I'd imagine (and his emplyees have benefitted as well). Yeah, he don't do poop.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

I just wish on all the car shows they'd knock off the bs and show the real shop and personalities at work. IMO the "drama" of these shows to the uninformed public shows all us Hot Rodders to be a bunch of egotistical maniacs doing a power trip!!!! Unique Motorsports is no doubt a highly successful business and certainly not managed by the methods we see portrayed on the show....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Back when I could still work 18 hours a day, TV wasn't on my schedule at all... Now it fills in a lot of the R&R time... Don't think I'd want to give it up completely, takes some searching, but there's some very good shows on the tube these days, too....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

My son bought this 66 Stang 21 years ago, we took it all apart, sandblasted, replaced the quarters (paid a guy and I helped with the welding), replaced the floors, inner wheel house, straightened and patched in the pannel between the headlights, replaced rear frame rails, did a little body work and sprayed lots and lots of restoleum primer. We worked on it for 2 years. I found a pretty good 65 coupe in a junkyard, took the motor out of the fastback, and got it on the road for him. That was the last time the 66 got worked on. He's got all kinds of "new 21 year old parts" for it. I think it's time to get it on the road. BUT not until my T coupe is done though.

Dave, you could come out to Arizona and join the rest of the "Snow Birds" this is when we can work on our cars, the cruises are huge, sometimes 300-400 cars show up every weekend! I will be going to the Nostalgia Drags and show at Speedworld this Sunday,so put up the snow shovel and help stimulate our economy!

Tom that's a nice fastback!!! Yep I think it's time to drag it out and start working on it. Looks like a nice project!!
I've had Speed TV since it started. They did have that old show what was it "Car and Track" with Bud Lindman? The one they rebadged for Dale Jr's show. Anyway some cool road tests and lotsa old roundy round racing.
I do like that show "Pass Time" where you guess how fast the vehicle goes in the 1/4. Not a big "Whips" fan either. I get tired of seeing Reme make the same style boom box over and over.
Although I did like the hearse they made for Tony Stewart. That was cool.
