Wow, you and chip both parked them exactly the same for the photos, what are the chances of that.
Ha. I like yours best! Sorry Chip. :D
Does the data base have the older car and trucks? 36 Chevrolet P/U?

I agree, I like yours the best.
I have always liked Chip's work....But.. the one thing I do not like is his choice of wheel design. They all look like hubcaps anymore.:whacked:
I consider color kind of a "secret weapon" in the paint biz. I think you have a good instinct for it.
Your design is more "sinister" due to the black and red combo....and more "exotic" due to the magenta blend.
Chips designs are based on following the flow of the body work, which is solid design.....on high contrast two tones, which almost always work well....and then he adds some interesting detail to make it unique.
It's not what I would call adventurous design work, but it is very broad in appeal. His approach also will not have the unpleasant surprises, that happen when you cross that "love-it-or-hate-it" line, attempting an edgy concept.
John, your design is waaaaay more pleasing to the eye. Chip's is too "busy" for my eye.
Gotta go with the first one. HOTRODPAINT got right when he said it has a "sinister" look. The yellow and black, looks like it's missing something..... like maybe a white light on the roof, and TAXI on the door? Don't get me wrong...it's a nice taxi.;) Sniper
