I had my car tooned and here is the result. They are also making the same picture into an embroidery file so I can have it put on whatever I want or I can have the image screen printed on anything too.
What do you think?

I think that it looks great. Would make a cool t-shirt.
I've always liked that sort of thing, though I would have left the fill cap off the apron for the artwork. A good artist like that enhances the more appealing features of the overall car. Very cool.
They did a nice job, if I had something nice I wouldn't mind having a car on a tee shirt. I don't think the truck would look too good at it's present condition!!

That looks great, who did you have do the work?

If any of you get anything from them, tell them that Robert Youther sent ya and maybe I can get them to take a few pennies off of my balance....LOL!
That is kool. I once had an artist in Branson air brush on a t-shirt for me the Focus that I had. Then my ex had one of my 64 done to the back of my jean jacket. I do like what they did for you ride.
:toocool:
That is sharp and different , will look great on a jacket when your at a show or even just cruising about .
Here's what I had em come up with to put on a shirt.
I like the flag background, looks good!!!!
Now that you have the file you can play around with different backgrounds when you get bored. This is one of the ones I did with mine a while back.
I had my 48 DeSoto cartooned, got a framed picture and 2 t-shirts, but no ways that expensive. Now getting 2 sweat shirts for $60. Small picture on the front, large on the back. Price includes price of the sweats, and shipping.

What a cool idea. When I build or paint a car I do a drawing, make copies, and then use colored pencils to experiment with different color schemes. Here's the one I did of my coupe. It never occurred to me to do a "toon" style and then have it put on a shirt... I will now! Thanks for the idea.:D
Awesome job! You ever do any for other people? You could easily make some cash by doing that.Quote:

I have done a few (very few!) drawings for other people. Time always seems to be an issue with me; too many irons in the fire, I guess. As for making money, it takes me so long to finish one that I would probably make about 25 cents an hour... It's just something I have done since childhood and still enjoy. If I hired myself out and was under pressure to finish, it would probably take away the enjoyment I get.:)
Anyway, here's one I did recently. The car in the foreground is the first hotrod I ever rode in back in 1961. The background image is how that same car looks today (still owned by the same guy).
Great job. You have a great talent. I can't draw a stickman straight.
Hey, that's excatly what I was goona say:p !!Quote:

The talent represented on this site is flat unbelievable! Kudos to you all from a "technical wizard" who can't draw a straight line without a ruler!!
This is one of mine,I also think it is great that these guys have the talent that they can put it in this type of form.Bill Harper is the artist of this one and he attends a lot of shows here in the Sacramento and Foothill areas.
If you want a 2nd option, I will be glad to give you contact info on the guy that did mine. I wish I could post a picture, but the only thing I do worst than draw, is operate a 'puter:mad: !!Quote:
