If you think drag racing is expensive, you ain't seen nothin' yet!!!!!!! Wait till you bring it home all wadded up, and the engine kicked the rods out cuz your foot was planted on the accelerator when the back end was off the ground!!!!!!!!

Cool! I have sportsman pros that I use as my street tires but I've taken them down the strip a few times and they hooked good... last time I tried though I was still in low 13 second trim... ladder bars with monoleafs... just saying they can be made to hook but I haven't tried it with the power stepped up... let us know how it turns out

There will be many opinions... I swear by Brad Penn Grade 1 20w50 for race engines partial synthetic "The Green Oil". Others will say Royal Purple... I think for racing you'll want the protection of a synthetic blend or straight synthetic but the stuff ain't as cheap as straight mineral petroleum (which isn't very cheap anymore either).

You'll lose some power with the heavier oil but it protects components better than like a 10w30

In my previous motor I had good luck with Castrol GTX...

Two cents from my experience and those of other customers of my engine guy that use the stuff...

I've always ran Mobil 1 in mine, never had any trouble. Synthetic is a bit more expensive, but worth it IMO
