I had so much trouble with this I'm an expert now
!
You probably know to scroll down to "manage attachments", that will bring up the "Browse" option. Click on "Browse" and that brings up "My Pictures", you can look in there to find it and just double click the one you want. Now press "upload".
If it won't download due to the size go to your picture through your computers control. I have windows so I go "Start, My pictures" then find my picture.
1. Right click on the picture.
2. Click on "edit"
3. Click on the top "images"
4. Click on "Stretch/skew"
5. This one you have to play with a bit. I usually put 50% in both boxes.
6. Now come back to the site and try to download it as in the first paragraph, if it's still too big try the stretch/skew again.
Sounds harder than it is. Once you have this figured out you can place it where you want. Put the curser where you want the picture and click on the paperclip above your message, then click on the picture file you want there. You should see an "attach" message where your picture will be within your message.

This is a good thread to add to read first column. We all seem to ask these questions. I like using photobucket because it's free to post your pictures there, they provide a photo shrinking tool and links that will work here. For posting a picture on this site, first create a photobucket account at www.photobucket.com .
Next click add pictures on the photobucket site, to do this, click a "browse" box it will link their site to your hard drive where you can go and upload any pictures you want, so pick a photo double click it or select "add". Click the upload button and wait. Once the picture uploads to photobucket you can resize it using the resize button on the left upper bar menu(which will appear as you move your mouse cursor over the photo that you have clicked on and are viewing there). For the picture to appear perfect on most sites like this one, resize to large or 640 x 480. Next you will notice a menu off to the right of the photo with link codes. If you highlight and copy the "IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards" link and then paste it into your post, your picture will appear. Here is a hint, click the post preview button, if your picture doesn't appear, the image link may be touching another word in your posting instead of standing alone with spaces on both sides of it. Once you get the hang of it, it will only take a few seconds to post pictures that fit the forum perfectly(i.e. not huge that make you scroll back and forth. Also if you want to create an avatar or photo picture to go with your name, the resize button has an avatar size too.
Hope this helps, Steve."
"No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
