Dave, I worked the area from about Waveland on over to N.O. and 9th ward doing debris removal and I am pretty sure that FEMA is the second biggest scam ever on the people of the US. Iraq war might still be more blatant. Probably somewhere near 80-85% of the FEMA money gets absorbed in layers of contractors and sub contractors then the guys actually doing the work get a very tiny slice of the pie and have to fight for that.Quote:

Well, with FEMA, Homeland Security, the war in Iraq, and all the pork barrell projects in the budget it's a cinch there isn't gonna be a lot of money left for anything else!!!! Sure hope Congress can cut enough programs this year to be able to give themselves another big pay raise!!!!!
