a break from hot rods to think about snow

Putting the finishing touches on the latest project. I used to have a tractor and snow blower but I gave it to my son. I was going to buy another one until I got to looking at the prices and the quality of some of the new ones, so I decided to build my own. Including the cost of a one year old blower I picked up a the local John Deere store I have a total of $900 invested. So far it works like a charm and I can't wait to see if will throw snow. Well, on second thought, yes I can.

I think I will paint the frame green and yellow.

Nice looking set up, looks something like Tim, Allen would build on Home Improvement, MORE POWER arrrrrrrrrrr. I have had enough of this heat I'm looking forward for a little cooler weather.

Tim the toolman Taylor- I loved that guy.. No turbine power, not even a Harley, or a big block. This thing really needs to move some snow or Shirley will raise more than just her eyebrows at me. She's already given me that "it doesn't look like the other tractor" thing already.

If that's a real snow machine, where's the enclosed cab?? Gotta have a cab when blowing snow, otherwise your beard and mustache freezes up.:LOL: :LOL:

John, It's funny because before I check the site and saw your cool machine, I had been watching old clips from Home Improvement. You can see the Hot Rod in fast time being built. I loved that show; you sure don't see anything like that today on the TV. I don't have cable; if I did between CHR and the old reruns I wouldn't get anything finished. You'll have to have your wife take some pictures from inside looking through the living room window, while your hot rodding the snow machine!!:toocool:

Bob, funny you should ask. I started on the cab structure last night. I HATE snow so I will do everything to stay out of it.:LOL: :LOL:

I'm going to Austin, Tx. in September for a wedding..... Think I'll go hide out at Kitz's house and hope everyone comes back to so dak without me!!!!! If you see my picture on a milk carton as a missing person this winter, please do not respond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:LOL: :LOL: :LOL:

Dave, I had a buddy in college who was from Nunda, SoDaK, He swore he would never go back to cold country again. I just heard he died from a massive brain aneurysm while fishing off his boat in Florida. Guess he kept his promise.
Maybe I should just hitch a ride to Texas with you and then I'll never have to deal with snow again.:HMMM: :LOL:
