Hey Don, you continue to be famous! Nice to see you and Dan driving your black beauty! Great Youtube vid! Congrats!:D
Well, I recognize Big Daddy, gastrick's coupe, and I think I've seen that scalloped '27 T in a magazine, but other than that.........................
:3dSMILE:
Thanks Steve. Yep, that was nice to find on there. I was pretty surprised actually. :D
Bob, look again. The guy who played Weezies second Cousin twice removed on the Jeffersons was there. At least I THINK that was him. :p :p :D
Don
The coolest part of that vid is that those of us who havent met the infamous "Don" can now put a face (and even a voice:eek: ) to the name! Nice job Don!!:)
Don I just watched it again with the sound turned up(didn't want to wake my wife last night!) Nice sentiments about kids working on cars! I never noticed the shift knob before today! Nice finishing touch. Stunning Balck and copper! Couldn't of said it better myself! You really hit it with those color combos and with that baseball glove interior!:D
Thanks Steve. As for the shift knob, Dan pulled a fast one on me at Turkey Run. He was at a vendor booth looking at knobs and asked for my opinion on which one I liked best. I told him that one was my favorite of the two he was holding. Then he handed me the knob and said he was buying it for me and just wanted to see which one I liked . Guess I have to buy him one for his car to get even. :3dSMILE:
The guy who did that video does a show on channel 8 in Tampa I think. Very nice guy, and he told me it would end up on YouTube eventually. One of Dan's friends sent him an email with the video in it..........sure surprised me when we got to the part with my car in it.
Gastricks '32 was in there too, that car gets it's picture printed everywhere. Very nice Deuce. BTW, he just scored a 392 hemi and is installing it and 4 carbs in the '32. That will put that car right off the scale. :)
Don
Sounds like Gastick is going to be burnin rubber very soon! Hemi, one four letter word I love to hear!
Yeah, here are a couple of pictures of what his motor and carbs look like. Very sweet. :D :D
Don
Well, the narator used the right adjective when he described Don's roadster as "stunning". For those of you who have not seen this car in person, pictures and video don't do it justice. The copper glows in the sunlight and the black looks a foot deep - characteristics that just aren't easily captured on film.:D
Gastrick's deuce coupe is another amazingly nice piece and that Hemi is going to make it irresistable. What says "hotrod" more than a chopped deuce three-window with bomber seats, aluminum interior, and a Hemi? It's going to look like a refugee from the Bonneville salt flats...
Ah, you are too kind Jim.........those bribery checks I am sending you are really paying off.
Next year I hope you and your Son bring your rods..........maybe the track T??:)
