Man I really dig 60's style Kustoms, especially Bubble Tops.
I stumbled across this today, from 1946 .. it may be the first bubble top kustom ever.

Wow, now thats a true pioneer.... 1946
The grill is really nice, it's been used a lot in custom's.:toocool:
Here are a couple. The X-Sonic showcar from the '60's, and the current build of Aaron (Plowboy on the HAMB), which he calls the Atomic Punk. I love this car, and he cranked it out pretty fast, I understand.
Don
Thats a very cool car Don! I hope he has a way for air to flow thru! Very Cool!
That first one is the offspring of a Buick and a B17. He shoulda left the twin .50's in it for freeway driving!
the atomic punk rocks!!
here are a few odds I found
and a few more. The last being a bubbletop pro mod. Not quite the theme, but its fitting.
I like this one as well, here is a different view!

I think it was at Indy. Aaron it quite a guy and has done a few of these types of cars. My Son tells me he cranks them out unbelievably fast for what they are.
It has to be expensive and difficult to make those bubbles with no distortion.
Don
Nothing like "Snow Filtered" smokes!:DQuote:
