Or can I even get music from a cd to a MP3?
No. If you have Windows Media Player or Media Center, it's just a matter of ripping the music you want and then burning them to the MP3 player. In most cases just a simple drag and dropping of a music file. At least tha's how I did it when I copied over 500 songs to my Sandisk player from my cd's.
There is software that you can buy (or download from the web for free) that will do it, like Roxio's Media Creator 10. But Windows Media Player will also handle it and it come included in Windows.
Windows Media player will not encode to MP3, and only to WMA unless you buy the MP3 functionality however, because of it's easy to use interface, and automatic cddb retrivlel that works flawless, I recommend ripping them to WMA and then converting them to MP3 with a program called Switch by NCH software.. just google it for the download.. drag and drop as many songs as you want converted. totally free program
Thanks for the great info... I did google but it has a lot of downloads do you have a better link?Quote:
