Good luck, Scooter!
No matter how many times you bust off a new engine, it's exciting every time.
I hope it turns out to be the best engine you ever built.

it would be very good if i could find this vac leak. i am at a loss tried spraying everywhere nothing, new gaskets on everything i am thinking its just flat out the pro-form center section. they told me over the phone that the earlier ones had internal casting flaws so its gotta just be a factory lemon.

Scooter, I wrote this for the crankshaft wiki on another forum. Might help you figure it out......

the heads and deck were milled i sure hope they didnt screw up my geometery. usually on a sbc thats not something to worry about??, as opposed to an olds or mopar. the intake is new ive only had it on there once before, it has only be torqued to a moter twice, this being the 2nd. good article tech this weekend i am going to have the intake matched anyway free with the head job just havent had any motivation to take it up to him till now, go figure huh. he baked the heads to. so i am not sure why this leak is the way it is. it sure is making me hate it already and its only a newborn! haha. tomorrow im gonna borrow a friends carb and see if that works.
