Lost a good friend this month.

We have driven fuel tankers for 20 years.
He was one of the best and just a all around great guy.
He will be greatly missed around the loading terminals in Tampa, Fl.
Watch all the videos You'll see a old man that tried to save him tell
how hard he tried to servive. This accident was not Ray's falt.
A pick up truck lost control in the rain and hit ray in the steer axle
causing him to lose control. He then went off a 30 plus foot bridge
crashing up side down and busting in to flames. Be warned the old
man starts to break down and cry, God bless him for trying.
He's the only one that had the balls to stay and help while the
tanker kept exploding. Kurt

So sorry to hear about your friend. I saw this on the news, such a horrific wreck.

I know how it feels to lose a good friend, I lost one of mine 5 years ago and I was so choked up I couldn't even say what I wanted to say at his memorial service.

My condolences to his Family and everyone who was close to him.

Thanks guys; This was a big hit for every one that knew him.
We’ve got drivers out there that complain and moan about doing
their jobs, Ray was not one of them. He was the guy that always
had a smile on his face and his hand out to shake your hand.
He was the guy always cleaning his truck and making sure every
thing was working right. He loved his job and it showed in his work,
every day. We have lost a few guys that are new to the job, but we don’t
don’t lose guys with this much experience normally.
Itoldyouso; I know what you mean.
At the funeral I was going to get up and say a few words.
Rays 10 year old daughters best friend got up to say some thing and
totally lost it sobbing and crying though the whole thing.
Her three last words were completely clear for every one to hear.
I LOVE YOU!!! I couldn’t have said it better.
I had never seen two hundred people cry at once. Kurt

I'm so sorry for you loss. The world was richer for his presence. It's rare to have such good friends, who work hard and keep a smile on their face. Sorry.
