    I need an opinion

My wife is starting to get a bit "noisy" about some of my living room decorations. It seems that she doesn't think that they are appropriate. I disagree as it is an ever changing display and one she should be proud to show off. Well, that argument went over with a dull thud. Now, with that said, I'm asking if she is wrong in her dislike of my art forms. Below are a couple of photos of the current display - it's missing one part which should be added a bit later today or early tomorrow:

I agree with your wife.....You need to get rid of that couch and chair so that you have more room for the important stuff....

I think your wife is being totally unreasonable and agree with firechicken. If you moved the couch and some of that other stuff out to behind the garage, you'd have room to get a body in there.

Well, you DO need a place to sit and admire your art work.....Trade the couch for some nice bucket seats

Yeah, and then you could strip and Epoxy that Floor (or maybe put in a checkerboard pattern) so you could put it together right there-

I think she is being unreasonable.....but I am assuming that the parts were not painted the same day that you moved them in. They tend to be a bit stinky. :-)~

Plus you will need more room to fit the chassis and driveline under that thing. Just make a deal with her that you wont start the engine while she is sleeping.

Sounds about unanimous that she is being less then understanding and reasonable. Now - since I'm in general, a coward when it come to grabbing a tiger by the tail, anyone want to tell her that she had best be more pleasant and considerate about my decorations? After all, they don't smell too bad - only like Presta 1500. I was nice enough to leave them in the garage until they thoroughly dried (well, most of them). Heck, at least I didn't bring the engine or transmission into the living room

    I have similar decorations.....so I don't see the problem.

You know Dave, you're going to ruin this vision I have of you!

Seriously Fellas, we need to take back control of the Women-our Grandfather's were the Boss and we lost it-what happened? Where did we go wrong? Why can't we take control of our Lives?

I want to start a movement to take back control of our Households and I nominate IC2 (Dave)to begin the assault-do I have any yays?

We must win this fight or forever be pantywaists-is everyone with me? (or, should I say, is anyone with me?)

Lose the furniture and get some different paint on the walls... Some old milk cartons work great for guest seating, and maybe a roll around shop chair or two.... I can see your wife's point, the colors really clash.... You're either going to have to paint the walls or redo the fenders green.....
