I'd like to put a newer ls series v8 in my Caballero but it seems that everytime I see one for sale they want a couple of thousand dollars for just the motor not including the wiring harness or the transmission. I mean its great if you can get 300 horses at 20-25 miles to the gallon. It's all possible with the technology thats out there it just seems like its hard to achieve for the everyday hotrodder. And I guess I'm a bit of a yuppie too cause my wife drives a Tahoe but we bought it for trips and to have room for family. It's kind of hard to jam 6-8 head in a Tracker or something similar.
