I've said it before a time or two, but just wanted to say how much I enjoy this place and it's members. Without this place I would be in trouble from time to time. (more often than not)

Your not the only one buddy!! I stray on a daily basis, but this is my online home!! All the others get riled up alot, but here is always has a calming effect on me.
Right On! I used to spend 80 % of my forum time on another streetrod/hotrod site, but not any more. Now I stop by there about 2% of my time there and about 80 % here. There is always more going on here, more posts, more questions, more discussons, more fun. The other site has gotten stale, not sure why, but it has happened. The variety of cars and people keeps this place interesting.
I'm on many, this is my main one now, the people are friendly!!!! and they don't care what you drive, they will help you.

Lots of times I feel like I don't have much to contibute, but I come here multiple times almost daily-it's like an old, comfortable pair of Levi's-
I'll agree. Too many hostile sites on the net, populated by people who's job is to find something wrong with anything you might say. I think it bothers me more that the moderators on some sites, don't act, or worse yet, the "attitude" comes from the top.
I guess I'm lucky, this is the first car forum I've been on.....why go anywhere else.
Agreed.... I love it here. Something for everybody and nobody thumbing their noses at you because you don't have the "right" kind of car. I feel honored to share this space with some awesomely talented machinists, fabricators, painters, racers and all around car builders and of course "hot rodders". Not many places you can find the breadth of knowledge we have here.

I started on another rod site, but after I found this one, with all the friendly, helpful, and non-critical guys and gals, this one became my home. I still hit a couple of others for a quick scroll, but do it first, and end up lurking around here. This site is the greatest!
You guys seem to have a good little community of like minded individuals on here,,you all seem to support each other and that is why I have got onto this site.I am a member of another forum,and we have a small minority of guys who are actually members of another US based forum who think it is their divine right to rubbish anything but a certain style of car,:rolleyes: ,and reserve the right to belittle who ever they want to.This includes picking the shows and rod runs apart,and the prize winners,although some of them never even went to them...:eek: Yes,I still lurk there,but that is about all now,,and yes,there are some damn nice people on that forum.Through our displays at various swap meets,we have made some good friends.That is a plus. But,this place feels good,I am stayin.:D
