We teachers can work our asses off to present the material that young people need to be competitive in the modern world and they still don't learn. Why? Because they don't want to!:eek: Why should they? Everything they want is handed to them at no cost and they can do anything they want with no consequences.:mad: Eastern countries are now kicking the USA's ass in medecine, engineering, and research because their students start out with nothing and they WANT to excell to improve their lives.
I'm just trying to survive the next two years so I can retire from teaching and move on to something else...:rolleyes:
