Garlits Museum pictures
Dan didn't take too many pictures, he was too busy looking at all the stuff Don Garlits has in his Museum, but here are a few:

Was the "canopy car" there, or did Tom buy it to bring it home as a surprise for me??????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Are you talking about the Glass Slipper, Dave? If so, I didn't see it.

Great pictures, I would have a hard time leaving if I ever got in there!TEAMWORK is essential, it allows you to blame someone else!

no, the one he ran in the 80's, rear engined car with a canopy. Garlits played with them for awhile.

Ah, yes ....... Many thanks for that, Don.
I have never been to the museum even though my wife and I have been in that area a number of times. Now, she is a fine woman, but like most women she's just unable to separate the really interesting stuff (like the many treasures in the Garlits museum) from the things SHE wants to see and do.
Many good memories there.

What, no picture of the funny car that he did a 180 endo with a few years back...You know, the one with the bent chassis sitting up on the chassis stand? I'll have to see if I can dig it out of my old photo album (pre digital)........
Bill S.
PS: he does have a nice collection though doesn't he.Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

One thing, Don sure did wreck and catch himself on fire quite a few times!
The information placards he has posted all around told some very scary stories.

Don, thanks for the pix! I've always wanted to go there, but always running short of time in my Florida trips. We usually go down A1A to 301 so we are usually only a few miles from the museum, just never seem to find the time. Saw the previous postings of your car. Another thing I need to see in one of the future trips, probably not until this year's Turkey Run.
Saw 270 pix of Billetproof on another site. How the photographer missed your roadster is beyond me. They must have ignored the Florida tagged cars.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!
