    Make me STOP!!!!!!

Well, I goofed again.... Stopped out at Bart's on the way back from Sioux Falls the other day. Bart's a buddy of mine, keep some of my toys out there that are probably best classified as future projects..... Got to looking at my Torino, then came home and got on the 'net. The other day Bobby said something about the front end of the 'maro kind of looking like a Talladega Torino so I had to stop and look at my '68...... I know the 68's were FE powered, but I do have this really nice 460 that I'm using for a mock up engine in the Ranchero, and I have a bunch of spare driveline stuff plus acces to a '69 Torino parts car. None of this was more then a passing thought till I found this picture.... Whatever happens next is all Bobby's fault for even mentioning the Tallagega's...........

Got to do something with that extra 460, ya know!!!!!

If an FE fit between the towers on a '68, that 460 should too, right???? Thinking of putting a bracket car together again. Miss it. Bracket racing is a blast!!! The Super Gas class is good racing, just gets too intense sometimes......

Only 1500, heck I can hop in my 37 and drive there in 3 days. Honestly wish I was closer as I would like to meet you in person.

Dave I already tried that. Didn't work! Just wasted a bunch of hot rod years chasing green fish! But I did fill my need for speed with one of those souped up bass boats. 75 mph on the water is a rush! Anyway, Glad I'm back to cars now, putting gas in a boat and a tow vehicle is damned expensive!

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

They say the two happiest days in a man's life are the day he buys his boat and the day he sells it.
