Cobo 2008
Anyone else a "little" let down w/ this year`s show? Many too many vendors and a lot of open floor space. Thankfully I only live 170 miles away.(only 51 weeks `til Cobo)

I loved it. Nice mix of cars. There were only a couple of WTFs.
The drive to get there sucked though. 500 miles through the huge snow storm! I left the Tennessee/Kentucky border at 7:00 PM Friday night and drove through the night and got to the autorama around 11:00 AM.....it should be a 7-8 hour drive.

as usual I enjoyed the basement more than upstairs
as for vacant room, just the car corral was missed in my view. Too many over the top cars in my opinion, but then unless you drive it I dont think its a car anyways. I do acknowledge art, but as cars dont hang on walls, I see no reason for calling it that.1970 El camino,454!!

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
Where is everybody?
