you can always turn off at least the GPS function that allows other people w/ GPS that know your # to see where you are, you can't always fully turn it off, to where 911 and the police get no signal.. but even then, if your worried about getting cought, cops can bounce your location off of the cell towers as long as your phone is on.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
