i made an effort today to start things moving .. you dont get a written accident report anymore you only get a tiny trooper business card that you have to scan with a smart phone and print your copy .. i dont have a smart phone .. i tried thru work to get that done but something was amiss .. i did not receive the email of the report ,,try again tomorrow .. anywho on another note back to messing with the suzuki .. i bought a code reader and was disappointed to see after i got it that it does not do ABS reads or much else .. it will tell me over and over i need camshaft sensors .. i have replaced all 4 .. i need to figure out how to test them individually ( learn how to use my tester ) i understand that about half the new ones you get are bad .. ,, i mentioned the complaints about electrical issues with this vehicle ,, yesterday it locked me inside ,, when i shut everything off the doors did not unlock themselves .. iv`e read that can happed with new cars .. anyway after a few minutes of mild panic and turning and jerking every knob i could find they finally unlocked .. dont really know what i did ,, and i believe i have learned that the ABS light comes on when i back up .. when it goes back out i will not back up for a week or so and see what gives .. i will probably buy an ABS reader soon .. the vehicle runs perfect ,, not a bit of engine noise so i dont want to believe i have a timing chai issue ..i tried some other youtube remedies i will post of later ,, results not in yet ,,

always get and look at those purchase receipts .. i have ample funds in two bank accounts so i dont pay a whole lot of attention to my credit/debit card transactions ..but for some reason yesterday i decided to look at a receipt i got from a store i have been doing business with for over 40 years ,, of course it has changed owners several times and the newest owners are indians ,, not american type .. anyway my purchase of a 15 pac of sudwiesers should have been a little over 11 $ ,, i see on the reciept it is 22 $ ,, i inquire and am met with " OH .. my mistake .. i charge u twice << ,, later that day i am at oriellys buying spark plugs for the susuki ,, i pulled one out and the gap was about an 1/8 of an inch .. i buy 6 new ones at 9 $ a piece ,, 54 $ plus a bit of tax ,, again i look at the reciept and see 110$ out of my account ,, same result ,, Oh .. MY Mistake ,, i guess i charged you twice ..,, look at those reciepts especially if they ask you if you want a copy ,, the plugs did not improve the running by the way ,, the thing is a 5 thousand pound slug with a 110 horse 3.6 engine ,, it is the slowest vehicle i have ever owned ,, dump trucks and school busses leave me sitting in the dust . it will gear down twice going over a small rise ..

in two months of looking i have not found a purchasable corolla ,, every one that pops up on facecrap or gregslist dont last until the ink drys on the post .. even the dealer i bought mine from forever ago is still after me to sell mine back to him ,, i may use this recent letter as leverage against the insurance that i will be fighting with soon as to how much the need to pay me for my car ,, it was bent a bit but was a great running car even at over 200 grand miles .. i had no intention of ridding myself of it ..

I'm sure that won't hurt your position. If they were willing to buy it from you for 9450... I wonder how much they'd mark it up for re-sale?? That would be the real value in court!

as stated this XL 7 Suzuki is about the most incredible vehicle i have ever owned but i have been very displeased with its performance .. it wont get out of its own way . the computer has it shifting gears at about every 12 hundred RPM . . well cruising around just now i noticed that M on my shifter .. P . R .N . D . M .. .. Hmmnn .. manual mode .. first couple of times i tried i hit the shifter the wrong way ,, either nothing happened or it geard down while going too fast .. finally figured out it is basically a slap stick .. bump it forward 4 times and you`re in top gear ..jerk it backwards to gear down or it will gear down and reset on its own when you stop .,, it runs just fine when you take the rpm up to about 3 grand before you shift .. may shorten the life of the engine or trans though .. i played around with my code reader and figured out how to use the voltage side of it .. i found out how to test my cam sensors and found one of my new ones was bad ,, tested my old ones and found a good one ..anyway i still get all the cam related codes every 20 miles and i`m not gunna put a chain in this thing .... tested some fixall products that did nothing .. next post maybe .

UGH! 111 is no fun! Even with the low humidity. New England has been getting rain finally. Providence RI received more than 9 inches yesterday! Route 95 was of course shutdown most of the night. Where I am has recorded 2 inches.

I stayed in the house all day and didn’t leave until about 6 o’clock in the evening and that was only because I was invited for dinner. The sunset picture was taken after I was done eating. The temperature was still 95° but being on the water it felt wonderful because of the breeze.. joe

We had a project in AZ, 90 miles south of Phoenix, and the field PM had parked his black truck, windows up tight, and we went to get lunch, temp 114F. He'd picked up a new gas grill insert thermometer on the way to the site that morning, picked it up and dropped it, too hot to hold. It read 185F! We put the windows down an inch when we went in to eat....

They wouldn't get brown, but the best finish temp for pulled pork is 185-190F...... Now how to get that smoky taste?
