-17 degs outside here!!!!
A high of -10. Needless to say, I'm sitting at the computer today, and drawing on my "T" with Master cam, I'd rather be using solidworks, but this what I have at home.
I drew these last night and this morning, and put them in place on the chassis.

Roads were clear here in CNY and the temperature was about 15 degrees, but dropping and I had just finished some work on my chevy, so I took it out for a ride. Good thing the heater was working. Wouldn't believe the cars that honked their horns or flicked there headlights. Another 5 months and it will be back in the 70's:) :) . Can't wait:toocool: :toocool:

Today in Orlando it was foggy in the morning with on/off rain until about 3:00 and the sun came out and it must have been close to 80 F. I know both of you guys have plans on moving a little South soooooooo I just had to share, well.... rub it in, of what your missing.:toocool: :toocool:

Here in GA we had a snow advisory. La Grange to the north got some, and Auburn Ala to the south got sleet. Here in Hamilton, we got squat, just cold.
BUT... I was lucky to have made it home.. as the service station I was expecting to buy gas at was CLOSED...
I tell ya.. these southerners... they see one snowflake and they freak out. roll up the sidewalks. Man, back home in Idaho, it took six inches to get our attention.

Orlando is the only place I saw, that has cables above a man made pond, and the cable pulls you around so that you can water ski! :HMMM:
7:30am and it's -16 with a high of 2 :( I guess it's better than the high of -5 yesterday

Its about -13 Celsius here, (about 8 above zero F). Its been snowing like crazy all day. I just heard a news report about an 80 car pile-up on hwy#400 about 20 miles south of here, caused by white out conditions. ---Glad I didn't have to go out today..

Looks like "Pay Back" is going to happen tonight, it's 46 F now and could get down to 29 F:confused:
As far as a sunburn, it hasn't happened YET. I've been working Inside most of the time, though Saturday I pulled a wash machine outside to work on it.:toocool:

Ah, yes. Winter in the north; I remember it well.:p Gray skies, naked trees, brown grass, sloppy wet roads. I used to put the hotrod in the garage in October and it stayed there until mid-May. In Indiana we had about 9 or 10 good weeks of Summer; the rest of the year was unpredictable or downright crappy and cold. I was miserable at least 6 months out of the year.:mad: I moved here (Florida) 27 years ago. People told me I was crazy because I took a 40% cut in pay to do it... Well, it was the right decision for me. I drive my hotrods and ride my motorcycle year-round; no more $300 monthly heating bills; my garage is not heated and doesn't need to be.:D I still go north to visit family in the Summer, but if anybody wants me in the Winter, they can come here.:rolleyes:
It's going to be 40 degs today and tomorrow :) :) That's 57 degs warmer, and it's still it's not a warm day (is to us :3dSMILE: ). Tn is complaining that it's been 2 looonnnnng weeks since it's been 50 degs there :p
It's going to be a good day today! It's nice out, no football, no nascar and we are having open house with a new price, someone has to buy this house soon, we rebuilt the house top to bottom, and have dropped the price 50k (not at once) from where we started at, 16 months, 3 different realtors, and not one offer, not even a bad one! :o We have found out that realtors don't know how to sell a house! They are use to them selling themselves, we now have a team of 2, I don't think there is anyone better to get, they do everything to get people to come and look. The market is almost stopped in our price range, 2 yrs ago it should have sold without question for 75k more than I'm at today.
But Hey! It's going to be a good day today! :D

Good luck, man, the housing market really sucks for sellers right now. I've seen signs around here where houses are for sale for "take over payments". Ya know it's got to be bad when people are willing to just give away their equity to get out from under the payments...:(
a most amasing thing has just happened !!! i was standing outside and suddenly there is a break in the clouds and this great big orange thing appears from out of nowhere .. scared me for a second .. it hurts to look at it and it seems to be putting off heat .. supposed to turn nice down here late today and tomorrow .. too pretty to go work but there is so much i`m behind on i cant lay out .. houses are quite cheap around me also .. i`m looking at buying one if i can find the owner .. i can get it for less than 1/3 it would cost me to build on my property ..just will have to dig up my shop some how and move it

Not one person showed up to the open house! :( Oh well, they say you rarely ever sell a house from an "Open House" , I want showings, showings are preaproved for the money before they look. Haven't had a showing since some time in November. My realtor say's he about ready to put on a clown suit and stand on the corner..He's not kidding! :LOL: . I live on a dead end road with woods behind and to the south, and a park behind the houses across the street, so it real quiet around here, but I don't get cars that drive by unless they live on the block, and kids steal the signs at the end of the street and down at the other corners! thats why I need the open houses. People don't know I'm here!!! Cool if your not trying to sell. :rolleyes:
I have my house set up for show all the time, everything we have is packed in my garage, I can get one car in and out and can get to on work bench, so I can't work on much of anything unless I need to. can you say bored! :whacked: **) So I draw on my cars and different things on my Mastercam.

terrible wind last nite .. i stepped out this morning on my front poarch to get in my car headed to work and my car was not where it was supposed to be .. after a bit of searching if found it going out the back door .. then i realised that the car was where it was supposed to be ..what it was was the wind had turned my trailor plum around facing the other direction !!!

Sure am glad I never had a desire to move further north.:D It's bad enough here in southern PA. Yesterday it was a nice 52, and today it's 26 with 35 mph winds gusting to 50. Windchill in the single digits. Not as nice as down south, but beats the hell out of anything further north including Minnesota.:eek:
we aint got nutinh to look forward to this spring/summer our racetrack is gone.
