Noise in the truck(toyota 4x4)
I was driving my wifes truck this week, when I kept hearing a squeeking noise. It seemed to be coming from the passenger side of the truck. I looked under the seat, behind the seat etc.. as my wife uses the truck as her personal kitchen, and garbage can! I had noticed the sound before Christmas, and basically did the same thing then. Today, my day off, I'm driving the truck to a mandatory work related apt. when I hear the sound again. On the highway it seems to go away, but boy its annoying in the city. So I pulled into the driveway, and started looking under the wheel wells. I notice this little valence piece of metal right above the shock absorber, is hanging by one nut and flapping around. In the past, almost all the new noises are plates or coffee mugs stashed behind the seat. I hate noises as they usually equate to big bills, but was relieved to find the source at a cheap cost to repair! Do share your noise stories!:LOL:
