You know, I pretty much understand all automotive events.........drag racing, Monte Carlo, Indy 500, Nascar, etc. The one I can't for the life of me understand is a burnout contest. Followed very closely by Drifting. Followed very closely by Drifting. What is the point? What is the point?

My hearing isn't all that good, but I think I heard it as plant manager of the Bolling Green production plant. Originally Posted by HOSS429 Originally Posted by HOSS429Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

As I waited for the 'punchline' I thought the brakes might fail and hit the wall.
Unless he has a trans brake -
How many times can rear brakes tolerate such abuse before warping the rotors? There is no limit to what a man can do . . . if he doesn't mind who gets the credit. (Ronald Reagan)

no idea about the rotors , but the car's strapped to the tractor you seen pullin in the pit with the car , if not he would hole shot into the wall ahead of it
