What I could never understand is how some states do not allow people to use chains or studded tires when driving in that stuff. How many accidents could be avoided if tire chains/studded tires were used. How about people who get stuck/stranded because they can't have chains. I would be carrying a set of chains if there were the chance that I would possibly get stuck or stranded.
