i was takin a trip out to L.A

tokin on a number and digging on the radio :p
well almost ..
i was headed up to wally world in fayettenam tenn one fine day and spotted what i recognised to be a wallet sitting in the oncoming lane .. i did a 180 bat turn and flew back and at much risk to myself retrieved the wallet with of coarse full intentions of returning it to the ritefull owner ( after relieving it of monitary contents of coarse ) but to my dismay it only had the usual stack of probably maxed out credit cards and other worthless papers and a whole 2 dollars .:mad: .. i risk life in three lane traffic for two dollars .. i find paper and pen in my car and put the wallet back right where i found it with a nice little note telling the owner to ( GET A JOB ) ;)

Christmas music on the FM radio in my office. Waiting for a traffic report because my wife is stuck in traffic on I 95 between Washington DC and Baltimore and top speed so far is a blistering 11 MPH.:CRY: Snow :eek: just absolutely freaks people out here in Maryland.:LOL:

First time I've had the radio hrere on in months. Prefer to concentrate on all of the brilliant discussions on CHR, then listen to a little music and a lot of commercials. Too poor for satelite radio.:(

sadly my wife divorced me - 15 years ago and i still feel the same /( wait thats a conway twitty song ) .. i want her back .. is that so bad ..

i dont know very many more songs that can put one in a party mood more than this one .. we are`nt allowed radios at work but the guys in the paint shop have one anyway ,, they dont give a poot what upper management thinks cause upper management never comes near the paint shop ..cant have paint dust get on their hi dollar shoes nor sniff a toxic fume or two .. the painters stay buzzed most of the day and usually are rocking pretty good .. i spend a lot of time in the drying oven myself ..good place to get a good " heat " soak when i get cold from running outside .. and the fume buzz i leave with lasts a pretty good bit ... :p

I saw Dick DALE and his son play locally a couple of years ago. Puts you in a surf mood! I like motown, most sixties, 70's, some 80's and 90's including the Police which take me back to old memories, jazz and classical. Nothing like AC/DC to let loose or segar and of coarse ... let your motors runnin, heading out the highway, born to be wild......all good stuff. Cheer up Hoss.

"hard times come again no more " kate and anna mcGarrigle .. songs of the civil war .. . it`s not that i am depressed all the time .. i just prefer slow soulful ballads and heartfelt songs .. i grew up in a baptist church in a music enviroment .. my father was choir director and song leader and several of my brothers have been in numerous gospel groups .. i listen to everything from mazart to modanna but it simply must be top hit stuff .. i cant stand flip side music nor filler songs ..thats just noise to me ... about the only group i can stand most of what they ever did was the statler brothers .. ever hear of ( the complete LESTER " ROADHOG " MORAN and the CADILLAC COWBOYS .. that`s good stuff .. dont listen to the flip side though

ir yer gonna play in texas .... as much as i enjoy music that i like there is 50 times more of the stuff i dont like .. i loved the group alabama as much as anybody did when they first came out .. but living in alabama and hearing something on every radio staion by them 4 times an hour ( they must own every station within range of me ) .. one cant help but be sick of them .. i only listen to the radio when stormy weather is in the area and after every break up comes one of their songs .. i have a few other hates as well

Just last night the wife and I joined some friends to see a live performance. Mark Hummel's Blues harmonica blow out. Along with Mark was John Mayall!!, Kenny Neal, Lazy Lester and Fingers Taylor. And they had Rusty Zinn playing guitar for them. A stellar evening for sure! Kenny Neal is a car guy by the way, has a late 40s Buick waiting to be set up.
