I've noticed too that green and green toned colors from '30s/40s Fords have been showing up more lately on rods. You're probably familiar with the paint company addage that the colors that are hot in the women's fashion of today will be the colors of OEM rigs a couple years down the road. So there may be a clue in that.

Speaking of kennyd, that "brown" on the '57 Chev is a departure from "normal", yet pretty striking. Vive le difference!!
