I'm really bummed that Pavarotti croaked.....

Even if you didn't like a Classical Tenor this guy was something else.

If you remember the England's got Talent this summer, they had a phone salesman named Paul Potts that sang Nessun Dorma, a classical Love Song to
rave reviews. He was quite good, that is, until you compared him to the
 maestro.
 Here's the same song....

He shot to stardom when he filled in for a guy and did this number.
He was known as the Master of the High "C" and was able to effortlessly toss off at least six in a row towards the end of this rendition of "Ah! Mes Imes"

About the only really good tenor we've got left is that blind guy, Bochelli.

I'm pretty Bummed but I've still got the Stones.

While I'm not an opera fan, I am still sorry to hear of his passing. Certainly a very gifted man. RIP. RIP.

Yeah, I am sorry for his passing as well. He had enormous talent. A talent that comes only every so many years. Like Don, I am no student of opera, but the few times I heard him sing, it was well worth the time invested. One day, the void he leaves will be filled, but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest.Bob

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail....but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying..."Damn....that was fun!

Pavarotti turned up in Heaven with a note to God from the Pope. God opened it and read: "Here's that tenor I owe you."johnboy

Some mistakes are too much fun to be made only once.
I don't know everything about anything, and I don't know anything about lots of things.
