a customer and I were talking the other day about building cars and the topic came up about scratching or gougeing the first blemish in a new paint job, man what a depressing convo that turned into. turns out it happens quite a bit out there in the real world. I told him one about the guy I was working with years ago that was installing a dome light in the headliner with a power screwdriver.... turns out he should have checked the length of the screw !!! there I was standing outside of the car waiting to put in the rear seat and "pop" up comes a screw right through the roof. needless to say we both were quite speechless for a few momoents untill he realized just how bad it was then I think the speech became very broken french !! LOL
